A North East tech and hospitality business has unveiled an innovative new free web app that will transform its state-of-the-art training administration offering for employers.
Servace, which is located in Wynyard, is a market leader for booking management of residential and online training itineraries for businesses across the UK. Through its secure online system, users can currently schedule and manage itineraries, including booking hotels and travel, for hundreds of trainees year-round.
The new first-of-its-kind ’Apprentice Mobile App’, available on Android and iOS, will now provide even greater flexibility, streamlining, and safeguarding for learners, with users able to log in via their phones and see their full itinerary from a single dashboard.
Populated with details of booked courses, travel plans, and hotel details, users can also find helpful guidance on transport to and from training locations, meal times, and local information for when they are away from home.
In addition, the app also allows learners, many of whom have not travelled alone before, to be notified of any changes to the planned itinerary or log issues where they will get an immediate response via Servace and its travel partners.
The new digital offering has been launched during National Apprenticeships Week, which highlights the positive impact of apprentices in business and on the wider
economy.
Over the last decade, Servace has supported hundreds of businesses, including
major training providers and automotive businesses, to effectively manage
thousands of apprenticeship training courses.
Victoria Brunton, co-owner of Servace, said: The app is an exciting addition to our
apprentice service and helps our clients to communicate with learners continually
throughout their training programme to ensure they enjoy a connected journey
throughout their apprenticeship.”
Employers will have the opportunity to test the new app this month, with Servace
attending the Apprenticeship Conference at Millenium Point in Birmingham on
Tuesday, 13th February. The conference will look at the future of apprenticeships,
with various sessions focusing on how the sector can drive growth.
